Robert Lane's Musical Odyssey: A Journey of Harmony and Inspiration.

Rob was born in the Railroad town of Waycross, Georgia, in February 1976. He was born into

a family of hardshell Baptist preachers and, on the other side, his Lane family, a talented musical

group of siblings. His mother, Cynthia Elizabeth Lane, would have Rob in her life until he was three. However, a divorce would occur, and Rob would be stripped from his mother's embrace and taken to live with his grandparents on his father's side. His Grandparents would then move to Ozark, Alabama, taking Rob and his three-month-old brother Charles far away from his Lane family and the Georgia soil.

Rob was given piano lessons at seven, and after only one year, the piano teacher decided to quit and return to college. Rob would spend several years developing his gift of tickling the ivories by ear.

His Grandfather, Elder Charles Foster Barnard, would see his grandson’s talent and begin pursuing agents to accept his music and writing into the music industry. His grandfather, however, would pass away before he could achieve that goal.

Almost thirteen years later, Nashville would call on Rob under the management of Dale Morris and Associates.

Born in Georgia, faced setbacks, now country musician making comeback.

After six years of traveling from West Virginia, where Rob had moved into one of Dale Morris's homes, he completed an album and had flown down to Tybee Island, Georgia, for his fist single release, “The Best Is Yet To Come.” It would be February of 2013 when Rob would receive a call from Dale—the record label known as R&J Records had filed bankruptcy. Rob was off the label, and Dale informed him that the other big-named labels in Nashville had also chosen not to pick up where R&J had left off.

Another thirteen years would pass, He would marry his love, Lori Jean Snyder. Rob would give up on the music UNTIL He created a song called “A County Grand Jury” for tacticalcivics.com and found that all of his dreams of being a performing musician. His music will not always be “Tactical Civics oriented,” but more just solid Country Music for music lovers.

He has also reconnected with his West Virginia band members along with a couple of additions and is ready and willing to come to your next event. With popular Patriot Podcaster like Scott Mackay, Patriot Streetfighter, and Ann Vandersteel, His old love has come full circle, and the Name Rob Lane is once again in the music scene.
